As the Brand & Communications Content Lead/Manager, you elevate Seequent globally and enhance our reputation by bringing our story to life in ways that engage and inspire at c-suite level. Working in our brand team, within Customer Experience, and supporting a presence in more than 150 countries, this is both a strategic and hands-on role, delivering direct business value.

You own our brand messaging, working across the business to drive consistency and impact. 

You define our brand-building approach for our owned channels, predominantly social, and develop content that engages with nuanced audiences. This will deliver improved brand awareness and is backed by ownership of our content calendar. You bring knowledge of what's trending in our industry and beyond to enhance engagement and relevancy.

You think both big-picture and detailed and are an expert at repurposing content. You seamlessly navigate channels and understand what works and where, measuring engagement and continuously improving based on your learning. 

You're a confident interviewer and writer who works easily with detailed technical information, transforming this to audience centric, benefit led content.

Responsibilities: 

• Guardian of our master brand messaging, ensuring messaging portal (SharePoint page) and supporting content is up to date and accurate.
• Develop and implement our approach to brand-building for our owned social channels (blog, LinkedIn X, YouTube), building on our brand and external communications strategies.
• Robust and proactive community management.
• Research the latest content creation techniques, tools and trends, and integrating learning into content creation to improve relevancy and engagement.
• Create engaging, shareable, quality content that resonates with our target audiences, which can include thought leadership, advertorial, articles, blog posts, social posts, videos etc.
• Maximise and repurpose content to engage in new ways.
• Collaborate with the design team to produce visually appealing and on-brand materials.
• Brief and project manage the delivery of on-brand materials that are produced by external agencies.
• Work cross functionally with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to source and create content, developing and maintaining strong relationships.
• Create and maintain a content repository. 
• Use audience insights to shape content creation and develop appropriate measurement KPIs.
• Research trending topics that align with our audiences, brand messaging and pillars, integrating these with content creation to improve relevancy and engagement.
• Researching the latest content creation techniques, tools, and trends, and integrating learning into content creation to improve relevancy and engagement.
• This role manages the Content Writer as well as external content writing resources such as agencies, freelancers and individual contributors.
• This role leads all brand and reputation building content creation 
• Exhibit the company brand values and be a positive force and leader within the CX Team and wider company.
• Demonstrate proactive and positive leadership. This includes providing the wider business with training, development and motivation to succeed. 

Skills, Knowledge and Competencies Required to be Great for this role:  • Bachelor's degree in journalism, professional writing, English, technical writing, communications, or similar field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 8 years' experience working in the following areas: 
• Technical Content
• Content Strategy
• Working with social media platforms.
• Leadership experience would be an asset, although not necessary.
• Experience working with Meltwater, Sprout Social, Canva or similar tools
• Demonstrated success at learning and explaining business/technical processes with examples of brand and technical content writing, articles, white papers etc.
• Strong editorial background and exceptional skill in writing, storytelling, proofreading and creating, implementing, and ensuring adherence to technical style guides.
• Sharp interviewer, with the ability to establish credibility/rapport and ability to ask revealing questions.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple stakeholder needs in a fast-paced environment, while building strong relationships.
• Creative mindset, good judgment, open communication, collaborates positively, works proactively, and takes ownership for delivery.
• Creative aptitude to conceptualize and deliver engaging content aligned with our brand values.
• Fluent in English.
