The Billing process is complex and voluminous .Finding the right candidate to oversee and manage these efforts is a top priority at this time. C ompensation will be generous .Key Things to Note:This is a remote position . Client is targeting NC-based candidates who will be in office for regular meetings and training.This Supervisor will manage a large team of Project Accountants/Billers. Seek candidate with experience supervising teams of 10+ staff.Invoices for services are exceedingly complex, some involving 100s of pages . Seek candidate with deep expertise in billing for professional services, ideally engineering, construction, architecture or other similar industries.This is a highly interactive role. The staff and supervisor will regularly work with the Project Teams to verify billing data, resolve discrepancies, monitor progress, etc. Seek candidate whose analytical and organizational skills are complemented by strong communication and collaboration skills.The firm uses Deltek Vantagepoint software and related experience will be important.Selected Duties:Train and manage the Billing teamEnsure monthly billing goals are metBalance workload among Billing staffTroubleshoot billing issues; handle escalated issues as neededEngage Project Managers/Teams on complex or sensitive mattersLead weekly team meetings to monitor workload and manage internal and external deadlinesAssist Project Managers and Billing staff with any Deltek, client billing or project set up issuesManage the Project Opening processes to ensure all projects are opened accurately and timelyAssist with billing, project openings and closings as needed to meet deadlinesTargeted candidate will offer a related financial degree and 10+ years of billing experience including 3+ years in a supervisory role. Experience in Architecture/Engineering/Construction Industry expected and important.
