Auckland City Auckland br br Full time Permanent br br Who you ll be working for br br Johnson Controls is a global organisation specialising in intelligent buildings energy efficiencies and integrated security solutions With systems present in 90 of iconic buildings globally Johnson Controls are technology leaders serving customers in more than 150 countries and 117 000 employees worldwide br As owners of well known brands in New Zealand such as Wormald and ADT Security Johnson Controls has a branches in every region and a wide range of clients from hospitals airports and hotels to businesses and residences br An opportunity exists for the position of Bid Manager reporting to the National Head of Sales and working from the national headquarters in Otahuhu Auckland The successful applicant will be responsible for identifying tracking and co ordinating the company s tender processes br From developing a resource library through to review of software and processes the opportunity exists to champion growth by actively sourcing and co ordinating the efforts to convert proposals and tenders into new business br br As Bid Manager you will br br Identify manage and follow up on major opportunities br Attend client meetings to better understand requirements br Disseminate leads and opportunities to relevant stakeholders and ensure regular communications br Collate internal and external data br Draft content and articulate value add to meet and exceed the client s needs br Oversee consistency of company brand in external and internal communications br Conduct pre mortem and post mortems and regularly report br br Ideally the successful applicant will have br br 3 years experience in professional writing br Outstanding MS office skills br Intermediate or advanced numerical ability br Exposure to commercial construction sector building management systems or security br Outstanding written and verbal communication skills br Experience in managing internal and external stakeholders br Ability to manage and co ordinate multiple projects br Ability to function well in a deadline driven environment br You must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand to be considered for this opportunity br br An excellent salary and company benefits package will be offered to the successful candidate br br To Apply simply click the Apply button and attach a CV and cover letter or for a confidential conversation please call Wendy Clarke on 03 963 9157
