Basketball Coach

We're seeking a passionate Basketball Coach to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of basketball fundamentals, a strong commitment to player development, and the ability to adapt coaching methods to cater to a diverse range of skill levels.Responsibilities:Lead basketball coaching sessions for players aged 8 to 16 during term time on Sundays from 0900 to 1300.Develop and implement engaging training drills and activities that focus on fundamental basketball skills.Provide constructive feedback and support to players to help them improve their skills and understanding of the game.Foster a positive and inclusive team environment that promotes sportsmanship, teamwork, and personal growth.Collaborate with other coaches and staff to plan and execute program activities and events.Maintain open communication with parents/guardians to address any questions or concerns and provide updates on player progress.Qualifications:Previous coaching experience in basketball, preferably working with youth players.Strong knowledge of basketball fundamentals, strategies, and game rules.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with players, parents, and fellow coaches.Passion for learning and staying updated on best practices in basketball coaching and player development.Ability to adapt coaching techniques to accommodate players of varying skill levels and ages.Positive attitude, patience, and enthusiasm for working with young athletes.Benefits:Competitive hourly rateOpportunities for professional development and trainingAccess to coaching resources and support from experienced staffRewarding experience mentoring and inspiring young athletesIf you're a dedicated basketball enthusiast with a passion for coaching and player development, we'd love to hear from you!
