Hi All, We are a small family owned business team living in beautiful Mt. Cook village. Currently we are seeking a motivated Barista/Foh to join our team starting as soon as the first of September. The Old Mountaineers Cafe Bar and RestaurantFront of House Wait Staff with Barista Skills This position is situated in a stunning National Park in New Zealand. It is a remarkable place in which to live, with alpine vistas everywhere, and wonderful walks right outside your door.Accommodation is available for our successful applicant in the village, as part of the job at reasonable rates with free WiFi.Twizel is the closest town and is 63km or 45 minutes away.This is a position for a person with the right experience, drive and enthusiasm who enjoys working with a small team Post Covid. Duties include reporting directly to the owners. This person needs to be responsible and accountable for aspects of the daily operation of the restaurant including quality food, hygiene and customer satisfaction, cleaning, role modelling the staff, friendly, industrious and will do anything to help make our post covid situation successful and workable.LCQ and/or Managers Certificate would definitely be an advantage.The job also requires the person to clean the tourist accommodation units if required.A sound employment history with proven experience in a busy A la Carte environment is essential.
