Bar Person - Duty Manager - Ascot Sports Bar Bar & Beverage Staff (Hospitality & Tourism)· Working within our small team at the Ascot Park Hotel Sports Bar ensuring excellent guest experienceThe Invercargill Licensing Trust (ILT) is a high performing community owned organisation with a clear purpose – to create and contribute to a vibrant Invercargill.The Ascot Sports Bar is a popular suburban sports bar which attracts loyal locals and a variety of visitors. Known for its bar meals, TAB and gaming options, this is a busy 7 day operation.This role is a part time role offering the right person a great opportunity to join a successful Sports bar. The hours will be varied depending on business demands but there is opportunity to cross train in the Hotel as well.The bar person- duty manager will be assisting the Manager and team to provide excellent customer service and fill duty manager shifts when required. Promoting the range of offerings the Sports Bar provides is key and having previous knowledge with Gaming and TAB operations would be beneficial but not essential.Applicants will demonstrate the following attributes:· The ability to work in a team environment.· Experience within the hospitality sector· Enjoys working with people and understands the importance of great service.· A self starter who can think on their feet..
