Banking And Financial Services - Senior Associate / Senior Solicitor

We are looking for a Senior Associate (or Senior Solicitor) to join the Banking team in Auckland.
This is a busy practice area where you'll be involved in a range of challenging, interesting, and significant work. The role provides the opportunity to develop your skills and progress your career in a top law firm with an excellent client base, including all the major trading banks, other local and international banks, investment banks, financial institutions, sponsors, issuers, trustees, corporates, and government organisations.
The role is suitable for an experienced lawyer (4+ years' relevant experience) with a background in general banking and/or restructuring and insolvency gained from another top tier law firm or financial institution. An interest in drafting in plain English would be an advantage as would CCCFA experience.
All applicants should have a commercial approach and good drafting experience, together with excellent communication and interpersonal skills that help you develop strong relationships. As a senior member of the team, you'll be mentoring junior members of staff and be demonstrating leadership qualities, as well as participating in business development activities.
This role is based in our beautiful new Auckland office within the PwC tower at Commercial Bay.
