The hours and days for this Bakery Manager position are Sunday to Thursday 0300-1230.
At Countdown no two days are the same but in this role, you could expect to:
Ensure a great level of service for our bakery customers

Train and develop staff in your Department (including Bakers & Apprentices)

Sales planning, rostering, merchandising and ordering of stock

Champion Occupational Health and Safety and Food Safety practices to ensure a safe working environment for customers, staff and contractors

In our next Bakery Manager we are looking for:
Previous baking experience as well as ordering, stocktake and rostering systems

Previous people leadership experience in a Bakery environment

A strong customer focus and excellent communication skills

The ability to train and motivate a team
