The hours and days for this Bakery Manager position are Sunday & Monday 2am - 11.30am, Tuesday - Thursday 8am - 5.30pm.
At Countdown no two days are the same but in this role, you could expect to:
? Ensure a great level of service for our bakery customers
? Train and develop staff in your Department (including Bakers & Apprentices)
? Sales planning, rostering, merchandising and ordering of stock
? Champion Occupational Health and Safety and Food Safety practices to ensure a safe working environment for customers, staff and contractors
In our next Bakery Manager we are looking for:
? Previous baking experience as well as ordering, stocktake and rostering systems
? Previous people leadership experience in a Bakery environment
? A strong customer focus and excellent communication skills
? The ability to train and motivate a team
