Work Location: Matamata, Waikato Employment type: Full time (guaranteed 30 hours minimum per week, if needed 45 hours Maximum will be provided) The Lambo Limited T/A Ronnie's Café is busy bakery and café shop based in Matamata. Our Bakery and Café operating hours is 5:00 AM to 5:00PM Monday to Sunday. The shift will be rotating roster during that operating hour (you might be expected to work from 4:00 AM to 2:00 PM depending how busy the Bakery is) Our pay: $29.66 per hour depending on personal ability. To enhance our team, we are now looking for 1 Baker to join our team. We are expecting someone who has a passion for baking, attention to details, ability to multi-task and be a proactive member of the team. Ideal candidate should have a relevant qualification or 3 year's relevant work experience in bakery OR related field. Priority will be given to local NZ residence/citizens. Tasks Include: Measure and combine ingredients and raw materials using hands/hand tools and other equipment to make doughs for pies, pastry, bread rolls, and other pastry foods. Make sweet , savory and special ingredient fillings, sources and toppings. Check the quality of the ingredients and the prepared raw materials to make sure quality standard are met · Set, adjust and monitor oven and other cookware's temperatures to ensure proper baking and cooking time · Take out the baked pastry from the forms, trays, unloading, de-panning and cooling the finished products · Decorate, glaze and adjust the display of the finished products · Test the finished products to ensure that each item meets food safety and quality requirements ·. Clean and restock workstations and ensuring that all equipment is sanitized and prepared for the next shift. · Check the cleanliness of equipment and operation of machines before each run, to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations We pride ourselves on the quality of our food and the high standard of service we provide.
