About the role We have an exciting opportunity for a CoPilot to join our dynamic team in New Plymouth.
If you are a dedicated CoPilot that is looking to enhance every aspect of your flying, then we want to hear from you. You will be responsible for ensuring the completion of flights as scheduled in a safe and timely manner by collaborating with your crew and other team members.
Reporting to the Chief Pilot you will play a pivotal role in the success of the flight planning optimisation. This position is a 12-month maximum term contract based out of our New Plymouth base.
Responsibilities of the role include: Flight planning, Pre-flight inspections and checks, postflight reporting Completing non-flying activities such as facility housekeeping Contributing to the overall success of the operation through collaboration with the rest of the team. To be considered for this role, you will need: Sound knowledge and understanding of aviation Minimum 500hrs Helicopter New Zealand helicopter instrument rating AW139 Type rating New Zealand CPL New Zealand ATPL (desirable) Offshore flying experience (desirable) About you: Excellent communication skills Excellent relationship management skills Ability to work well in a team Sound Judgement By joining our team, you will work in a rewarding and professional environment, with a diverse team of people sharing ideas and experiences.
