Your responsibilities will include:To be successful in this role the skills and abilities required include (but are not limited to) the following:

Experienced Diesel Mechanic
Trade qualified - National Certificate in Heavy Diesel Vehicles or equivalent qualification
Full class 1 and 2
A good team player who can communicates and help at all levels
An ability to meet and maintain a Confidential NZ Security Clearance

About you:As an Automotive Technician you will performs a variety of technical maintenance and support activities, including hands on repair, certification and maintenance on the vehicles and equipment including LAV, Mercedes and MAN trucks.
Special Requirements:You must be able to obtain and maintain a Government Security Clearance. See criteria at https://www.defencecareers.mil.nz/home/how-to-join/am-i-eligible/citizenship-and-security/
You will also be required to undergo pre-employment activities including drug screening and vetting by NZ Police.
