We are currently looking for an Audit Intermediate or Senior to join our team in Christchurch. The role includes but is not limited to: Contributing to the delivery of the external audit practice to clients. This includes using professional judgment to tackle audit and accounting issues, as well as creating concise working papers. Acting as the main contact point with clients and the audit management team while audits are in progress. Assessing audit progress against audit plans/budgets, to ensure everyone is kept informed of any issues as they arise. Ensuring audit work is completed in accordance with International Standards on Auditing and Nexia's standards. Providing coaching and feedback to junior team members, helping to ensure they are appropriately trained and motivated. Attributes required You have a minimum of two years' experience as an external auditor. You are an enthusiastic team player, with a drive to take ownership and responsibility of your own work. You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and can use your initiative. You exhibit excellent communication skills, both verbally and written, with the confidence to liaise with both staff and clients.
