Au Pair

We are looking for a live-in au pair to join our family in Alexndra - 1 hour from Queenstown and Wanaka. This position would start November 2019. The role is to help with my children (5 year old and 9 year old girls) as well as household tasks such as cleaning, cooking and other jobs to keep our household running smoothly. Hour will vary as I work a four days on four days off roster. This will mean you also will get four days on and four days off in a row. You would need to be flexible and some weekends will need to be worked. Both children attend school five days a week and do activities after school so you would be required to drive and therfore a full drivers licence and confidence on NZ roads is essential. Having a car would be ideal however if necessary we could supply a small car for driving locally. There are lots of other au pairs within Central Otago to meet up with. There are endless activities to do in summer in Central Otago including biking, swimming and hiking. This job would suit someone who is keen to experience the South Isalnd of New Zealand. We are a busy family so require someone who is positive, shows initiative and is outgoing. You would have your own spacious sleep out with toilet on the property and full use of the kitchen and amenities in the family home. We will also supply access to wifi. We would prefer someone who could commit for all of Nov/Dec/Jan. Single person prefered.
