In this role, your purpose will be that of a senior manager within the business, positively influencing teams and delivering exceptional client service, predominately in the FSI space. You will be working with other highly talented professional people with the same dedicated focus to make an impact that matters. In addition to audit engagements, you may have the opportunity to assist with related advisory roles.Your typical day will include:·Managing multiple pieces of work concurrently·Regular communication with clients and audit teams, scheduling and executing high quality audit engagements.·Ensuring client and internal deadlines are met, without compromising on audit quality. ·Manage project plans to optimize engagements·Formulate reasonable judgements and conclusions in order to deliver informative and timely outputs·Researching accounting technical guidance within relevant framework of GAAP/NZ IFRS/PBES and/or Auditing standards, to assess client accounting positions adopted·Act as role model and mentor for junior staff members providing training and development opportunities, and - influencing the team positively.·Keeping audit efficiency top of mind.·Working to maintain up-to-date technical knowledge related to regulatory/ statutory requirements and compliance.·Assist with preparation of business reports and management letters for clients highlighting recommendations related to key issues.Enough about us, let's talk about you.
