These staff work under the direction of the judiciary: the support they provide enables judges to perform their duties efficiently and effectively. Judges support needs differ between individuals and between courts. They are also evolving in response to changes in the courts operating environment including changes in technology. The small judicial services team is responsible for anticipating and responding to those changes, and for working collaboratively with the judiciary to ensure we continue to recruit, develop and retain a high calibre workforce capable of providing a consistent level of service and adapting to the rapidly evolving courts environment.
