We're looking for an exceptional sales professional with a proven track record of success. If you are you driven, results-oriented, and passionate about delivering outstanding customer experiences, then we have an exciting opportunity for you to join the team at the New Zealand International Convention Centre (NZICC) as our Associate Director of Sales.
This role represents a rare opportunity to generate and secure new business events opportunities from the New Zealand market across association, corporate, government and special events that will create both economic and social impact for Tamaki Makaurau Auckland and New Zealand. You will work and collaborate with our important stakeholders and clients where you'll showcase your passion for promoting Tamaki Makaurau Auckland and NZICC.
The ideal candidate for this role is someone who is proactive in contracting new and repeat business, driving sales growth, cultivating relationships with clients, and of course closing deals. Experience within the Meetings Incentive Conferences and Events (MICE) industry is preferable. You will be required to build and maintain strong relationships with our partners and clients, be able to deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals, and be confident in collaborating and negotiating with senior decision makers. You will have a small team of direct reports so leadership experience would be preferred.
