Associate Director Architect

We're looking for a candidate to fill this position in an exciting company.

We are seeking an ambitious, talented and experienced Architect and manager to lead projects and teams through all design phases including on-site phases of projects.
Your work will involve leading the architectural practice and project teams to deliver projects to the highest standards to exceed client expectations. This role will sit alongside our other Architectural Practice Leaders (2No.) where you will play a pivotal role in shaping and directing the team, developing rising talent and promoting architectural excellence by way of example, as well as seeking out and converting new opportunities.
A large majority of our current and historic projects are related to existing buildings, often those affected by weathertightness failure or other building defects. Our strategic plan is to further expand our architectural offerings, building on our expertise, with a particular focus on new build developments.

? A proven track record to successfully run multiple projects and teams.
Comprehensive technical knowledge of NZ construction practices, relevant legislation and codes of practice.
Ability to motivate project teams to exceed KPIs and fee target goals.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a clear focus on client needs, working with integrity and delivering quality on every project.
Ability to establish and implement quality assurance and risk management processes and strategies.
NZ registered Architect
Ability and proven track record developing new business and coordinating proposals and tender submissions. ?
