Permanent, full-time (1.0 FTE), 40 hours per weekTake the next step in your nursing career!The AT&R service provides assessment, treatment and rehabilitation for the persons with complex needs. The majority of patients in AT&R (Southland) are older people with complex needs and those who have multiple health, functional and/or social problems, however we have also increased our medical/surgical beds so this ward presents an opportunity for nurses to expand their nursing experience across a wider range of patient care.
Mo te turanga - About the role: Work in close collaboration with the Charge Nurse Manager to manage and provide leadership support to enable an effective and quality driven practice environmentDisciplines of nursing, medical, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech language therapy, social work, and psychologyCareer development opportunity to step into a leadership role in a supportive teamMix of assessment, treatment, rehabilitation, medical and surgical beds provides varied and interesting caseloadThis role would suit a Senior Registered Nurse with excellent communication skills, organisation and leadership ability.

Utu whanui - Salary range This role belongs to the Te Whatu Ora/NZNO Collective Agreement and falls between Grade 2 Step 1 ($112,660 p.a. pro-rata) and Step 3 ($123,955 p.a. pro-rata) of the Designated Senior Nurse Salary Scale.
