Founded in 1998, it has produced exemplary Pinot Noir and aromatic white wines from its winery in Bannockburn under its eponymous label, as well as the Roaring Meg brand. Sourcing fruit from some of the region's original plantings, Mt Difficulty is a storied wine company with a desire to produce iconic Central Otago wines.

A unique opportunity is available for a passionate and dedicated person to join our small winery team at Mt Difficulty as the Assistant Winemaker. This is a fantastic chance to further your career in a premium, quality-focussed winery, contributing at every step from harvest to bottling while learning from the experienced team around you. Reporting to the Mt Difficulty Chief Winemaker, this hands-on role will require the ability to be flexible and adapt to change, as well as providing leadership in the cellar throughout the year.
