Assistant Vineyard Manager

We are seeking an Assistant Vineyard Manager to expand our viticultural management team at our Bendigo Estate. This position is a full-time, permanent role and the successful applicant will become an integral member of a progressive vineyard team, benefitting from Peregrine's career development programme.The key tasks of this role may include:supervision of vineyard labour when requireddevelopment of our biodynamic management programinvolvement in our vineyard expansion programhands on day-to-day operation of the vineyards, including canopy management, crop monitoring, yield estimation, pruning and vine trainingmachinery operationTo be successful in this role, you will have:a sound understanding of viticultural principles and practices and an open mind to innovative and progressive approaches to viticultureflexibility, sound communication skills, a willingness to learn and be part of a strong and cohesive teamPeregrine Wines is a well-established, family-owned producer of premium wines in Central Otago, and a pioneer of viticulture in the Bendigo subregion.
