Our Human Resource Payroll Service provides a centralised service and processes a fortnightly payroll for all our employees from our Greenlane location in Central Auckland.The role:The primary responsibilities of the Assistant Payroll Accountant include providing a prompt, accurate and friendly service to ensure that all claims and queries related to Continuing Professional Education expenses are processed in a timely manner and assisting the Payroll Accounting Manager in their day-to-day operations. You will also have opportunity to get involved in on-going process improvement projects.This is a permanent full time position based in Greenlane Clinical Centre, Greenlane, working 8.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday.Click here for position descriptionAbout you:As the ideal person for this role you will:have a friendly, outgoing and empathetic personality with good communication skillshave the ability to effectively obtain and process information to provide accurate and prompt servicebe a self-motivated person with the ability to prioritise and manage your workflowhave a proactive approach with a high level of initiative and attention to detailbe a team player who enjoys working in a busy team and has the ability to build and maintain lasting relationshipshave previous experience working in payroll accounting including understanding of month end processExperience working with ERP payroll system will be advantageous but is not essential.
