Assistant Manager

Location:GisborneDuration:Permanent fulltime – 32 hours per weekDays:Monday to SundayWage Rate:$28 - $30 per hourTasks include but are not limited to: -· Supervise and manage operation in the absence of the managerLiaise with the manager to increase sales, promotional opportunities and develop commercial business whilst delivering first class customer experience.Responsible for all departmental administration in absence of managerSupervise the team and deputise for manager, ensuring financial, operational and strategic targets are met.Provide input and ideas on new products and customer requirementsIn conjunction with manager, manage stock as per their demand and ensure adequate stock is maintainedAssist manager on budgets and reviews on costings, customer satisfaction and operating margins.Accurately handling cash and other transection when on dutyEnsure all health, safety and hygiene regulations are applied in relevant areas and adhered toProviding input to manager on sales promotion and display plansRegular communication with manager and staffsMeeting operational expectationHandling any general complaints and queriesAssist manage to prepare staff roster and trainingPerform any other job responsibility if requested by the managerPerson Specification:Minimum 1 year experience in similar roleMust be able to work on weekends and public holidayMust be able to work extra hours if requiredPro-active, positive, enthusiastic, energetic, responsible and friendlyProvide positive, constructive feedback for team membersPassionate about providing Great Service#J-18808-Ljbffr
