The days for this Assistant Longlife Manager position are Tuesday-Saturday with the hours to be discussed.
At Countdown no two days are the same but in this role assisting the Department Manager, you could expect to be:
Training and developing team members in your Department

Sales planning, rostering, ordering of stock and maintaining merchandise standards

Championing Occupational Health and Safety and Food Safety practices to ensure a safe working environment for customers, staff and contractors

Implementing promotion planning with great detail and in a timely manner

In our next Assistant Longlife Manager we are looking for:
Previous people leadership experience in a retail environment

A strong customer focus and excellent communication skills

Previous experience with ordering, stocktake and rostering systems

The ability to obtain a forklift licence
