About the Opportunity
This is a fantastic development opportunity for a marketing professional looking for exposure to the full marketing mix, from brand strategy to execution. This role will work alongside the Senior Brand Manager on the Tip Top bakery portfolio, a brand much loved by New Zealand families.
Primarily responsible for supporting the Senior Brand Manager in developing and implementing profitable and successful marketing strategies and plans for the Tip Top bakery portfolio, there is also the opportunity for this role to take ownership of part of the portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Senior Brand Manager in delivering against the strategic direction for the Tip Top portfolio, developing and executing the brand plans, optimising brand positioning and range architecture to achieve business objectives.
Taking ownership of an agreed section of the Tip Top portfolio, developing and executing plans to achieve objectives.
Management of specific, smaller projects across the portfolio including, but not limited to, new product development, packaging, sampling, communications.
Undertake analysis and reporting of key metrics from multiple data sources, to provide insight to the business with regards to the Tip Top portfolio.
About you
2+ years experience in a relevant role. You might be a Marketing Assistant, ready to step up, or an Assistant Brand/Product Manager looking for an awesome development opportunity with exposure to the full marketing mix, or a move into FMCG.
FMCG experience is an advantage.
You’ll have some Financial understanding – basic P&L, managing budgets
You can demonstrate how you use your initiative and persistence, and your ability to think outside the square.
You’ll be action and results oriented and able to manage your own performance.
Your numeracy and literacy skills are second to none, with excellent analytical skills, accuracy and attention to detail.
You’ll have excellent communication skills, quickly building strong relationship across the business and with our external agencies.
You’re a team player with the ability to work, collaborate and thrive in a team.
