Assistant Accountant

Are you looking for opportunity or change? If so, the South Taranaki District Council is seeking a unique individual to become part of the Finance Unit in the role of Assistant Accountant.
This is a position of responsibility with an emphasis on being part of a strongly focussed finance team. It will suit a person who is recently graduated or currently studying towards completing a tertiary qualification in accounting and/or has relevant practical experience, with an excellent standard of customer service and ideally experience in local government. It will be important to be able to demonstrate achievements at both interpersonal and technical levels and the ability to provide qualified technical support.
