Hireways, located in Palmerston North, is currently in search of an Assistant Accountant to join their team of over 100 staff. This position will be based in the Accounts Department, working full-time for 40 hours per week alongside a direct team of 8 members.
As part of Hireways, which operates multiple business entities, you will hold a crucial position within the company. Your responsibilities will revolve around maintaining precise financial records, demonstrating a keen eye for detail, and upholding the highest standards of compliance. Your role will be instrumental in ensuring the company's financial accuracy and regulatory adherence.
Highlighted Responsibilities:
Handling and documenting daily financial transactions such as payments, invoicing and receiptsManaging and maintaining financial recordsReconciling accounts payables and receivablesUpdating and reconciling ledgers, bank accounts, and databasesMonitoring and managing company expensesContributing to the preparation of finance reports, encompassing Profit and Loss, balance sheets, and cash flow statementsAssisting the team in budgeting and forecasting activitiesRequired Skills:
