Assistant Accountant

Well-established in the New Zealand market they have a strong customer base and a solid growth strategy.Some more about the roleThis is not your standard Assistant Accountant level role as there will be a large focus on your communication and relationship building skills. You will be supporting the Finance Manager directly with responsibilities including:
Generating invoices and account statements.
Performing account reconciliations (petty cash, banking, and general ledger)
Fixed asset transactions.
Maintaining accounts receivable files and records.
Building and maintaining positive relationships with all stakeholders.
Ad-hoc support to Finance Manager.
So, who are you?This role would suit someone looking to pursue their professional qualification as a CA/CPA. You are a self-starter that is passionate about improving the lives of others whilst taking ownership of the work you do.Ideally, you will have had similar experience within a finance team or accounts function, you are an intermediate Excel user, and preferably worked with an ERP system that will allow you to hit the ground running.
