A team of 35-ish headquartered in Victoria Park, we’re in the process of scaling our team to support the big plans in our pipeline.The role:You'll provide support to our FC and finance team by helping to prepare financial statements, accounts, management reports, processing invoices and preparing GST returns.As the Assistant Accountant you are also a key member of the finance team who will assist in the finalisation of month-end and year-end accounts for NZ and AU entities, assist with cashflow reconciliation, monthly billing and accounts receivable.You will collaborate with the wider Devoli team to work on various accounting projects and day to day objectives whilst always keeping a customer centric focus and a can-do attitude.Your day to day tasks requires a high attention to detail and will encompass but are not limited to accurately processing payments and invoices and within expected time periods, ledgers and accounts and making corrections where appropriate.You will be a self-starter, motivated and working towards yourt accounting qualification (or recently qualified).This is a fixed term role (parental leave cover) - about 9 - 12 months in duration.RequirementsYou're a partially qualified or recently qualified Accountant here in NZ.You've been a part of small finance team that is supporting a growth business.You have experience within a tech or telco company.You have strong ERP experience – XERO/Netsuite/D365.You're an accounts payable pro.You'd consider yourself 'advanced' whne it comes to Excel.You're experienced with IFRS 15 and 16 experienceBenefitsWe’re a lively bunch and no two days are ever the same at Devoli HQ, but there are a few things that are consistent:We’re committed to leading the pack in what we do – using tooling that is fit for purpose, moving quickly with high levels of individual ownership, and working without red tape.We love a shared lunch!
