The role covers a broad remit which also encompasses accounting support for the finance business partners, group reporting, account reconciliations & controls, fleet management, capital expenditure tracking and banking & insurance administration. About the role * Financial and Management Reporting: month-end processing (including accruals and provisions), monthly reporting for centralised functions, general ledger reconciliation support for NZ businesses, group consolidation accounting support. * Tax Compliance: support the preparation of FBT, GST, NRWT and income tax returns. * Financial Analysis: analysis and investigation of general ledger enquiries, daily stock and purchasing reconciliations, daily bank reconciliations, accounting for intercompany transactions and group recharges, general accounting support for Company Accountants and the Operations and Commercial Business Partners * Administration: Fleet management support, Tagetik leasing system management, Cashflow, Banking and insurance administration * Special Projects and other: involvement with special projects and other related duties as required About you * Collaboration & Stakeholder Management : this role requires exceptional stakeholder management and collaboration skills. * Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively. * Analytical with strong problem-solving skills and a practical approach. * A self-motivated individual who can operate autonomously but also as part of a team. * The ability to build trust and work effectively with employees at all levels in the organization.
