We currently have an opportunity for an Assistant Accountant to join our high-performing finance team.
The role involves:
Financial Accounting; assist with daily transaction processes, month end processes and AP/AR
Annual Budging; assist in annual budgeting and seasonal forecast processes
Fixed Asset register; maintenance of the fixed asset register
Audits and Assurance: liaise with external audits and complete internal audits as required.
The ideal applicant will have the following:
Business degree with a major in accounting
CA ANZ qualification (or equivalent), or study towards those qualifications.
3 years experience in a similar role
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
A self-starter who shows initiative
Attention to detail and the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
