As an Asset Manager for their Social Housing portfolio, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring our properties in Hamilton and Tauranga meet the highest standards of quality and safety. About the Role: In this dynamic role, you'll collaborate closely with tenancy services and asset management colleagues to deliver a comprehensive property and facilities management service. Your responsibilities will include property asset management planning, annual inspections, maintenance delivery planning, budget management, regulatory compliance, and portfolio management. Your ultimate goal is to protect and enhance the quality of their assets and ensure they are fit for purpose, providing safe and comfortable homes for their tenants. What you will bring: We are seeking candidates with 5+ years of relevant property or facilities management experience, supported by property management, valuation, or business qualifications. You'll need a solid understanding of financial and technical data, practical knowledge of building and construction materials and contracts, and the ability to identify and manage risks effectively. Strong soft skills are equally essential, including negotiation, communication, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
