We are seeking an Asset Auditor to join our team in preparing for the opening of the new Waikeria Prison facility on November 30, 2024. As an Asset Auditor, you will utilise your previous trades or construction experience to assist the Asset Coordinator in auditing, managing, tracking, and optimising assets for the construction site. We are currently seeking an experienced Asset Auditor to join our team on a fixed-term contract from March to November 2024. Utilising your previous trades or construction experience, you will work closely with the Asset Coordinator to effectively audit, manage, track, and optimise crucial assets for the new prison construction site.
About the Role: Undertake regular audits of the assets at the new Waikeria Prison construction site, ensuring correct functionality and accessibility of all assets in preparation for the opening of the facility.
Identify any issues or gaps in relation to the assets and escalate these to the Asset Coordinator.
Collect all mandatory asset data to comply with established standards and ensure this information is accurately uploaded into the new asset system.
Liaise with the Internal Asset Management team to update and maintain the Asset Management Plans as well as processing life-cycle claims.
Liaise with the onsite team to ensure Planned Maintenance schedules are up to date for going live.
Create the systems to ensure ongoing achievement of BWOF compliance.
About You: Ability to read Construction Design Drawings relative to all trade disciplines.
Previous trade or construction experience.
High standard of Health & Safety for working in construction sites.
Advanced administration skills.
Excellent customer service skills.
The ability to plan ability and prioritise workload.
Effective communication skills.
MS Word processing & Excel skills.
