Asphalt Plant Manager

The Higgins Team are currently looking for an Asphalt Plant Manager to lead our Tauranga Asphalt Plant. Reporting to the Surfacing Manager, this is a leadership role where you will be overseeing a team of 5. You will be a passionate people leader and with strong manufacturing experience. We can manufacture 600 to 1,250 tonnes of Asphalt per day and we utilise the latest technology to blend and mix aggregate, bitumen, modifiers, polymers, fillers, and pelletised fibre. What you'll bring to the role: Experience running plant in the civil engineering or associated industries is highly sought after Ideally you will have extensive knowledge of the principles and practices of asphalt mixture technology as applied to the design, construction, maintenance, and rehabilitation of asphalt pavements. Strong background in manufacturing including quality control and LEAN practices Experience managing a team or ready to take this next step in your career Strong track record of commitment to health and safety Higgins is a leading roading and civil infrastructure company in New Zealand.
