Architecture Designer

This job is required to perform duties and responsibilities that include, but are not limited to the following: Under NZ Building Act and regulations, provide high quality design according to the requirements of the company's projects Follow up all in charged design projects. Work closely with architects and other building professionals providing architectural design services and solutions on construction projects Assessing the needs of the company's projects, and interpret it in architectural plans in accordance with regulations and codes of practice. Preparing preliminary sketches, working drawings and specifications Calculating costs and estimating time scales of appointed project. Preparing, editing and revising plans, maps, charts and drawings Creating construction details based on relevant building codes and NZ standard to comply weather tightness requirements. Monitor progress status of construction regularly and make plan and document amendment if necessary Inspect work and materials for compliance with specifications, regulations and standards Communicate with Council to check the planning regulations and attending meetings with Council Collecting data using surveying instruments and other equipment Performing routine computations and plotting preliminary data Job requirement: applicant must meet following requirement to apply for this job At least 3 years full time verified working experiences At least a diploma qualification level 6 in Architecture, or above, could substitute the experiences listed above Excellent communication skill Excellent time management and can meet the project's deadline Vacancy number: 1  Working hours: minimum 30 hours, maximum 40
