Workplace Training & Assessment (Education & Training)Culham Engineering are looking for an Apprentice Trainer to oversee the training for all apprentices.The Apprentice Trainer will be responsible for coaching and assessing all apprentices within Culham Engineering and supporting them throughout their apprenticeship.Responsibilities IncludeDeveloping an inspiring and motivated environment, with a 100% achievement rate for all apprenticesWork with Competenz to review, provide feedback on assessments, progress and score assessments in timely manner.Provide mentoring and guidance throughout a learner's apprenticeship to achieve their goals.Develop goal orientated strategies to ensure transparent learning development and outcomes.Monitor and maintain progress records and submit reports to the Workshops Manager on a fortnightly basis.Establish, develop and maintain effective working relationships with all learners in all locations, Competenz and with Workshop Management/supervision in the delivery of the apprenticeship.What will you bring to the roleLevel 4 Trade Certificate in Boilermaking/Fabrication and WeldingWorkplace Assessor Unit Standard 4098 would be an advantageBroad knowledge of heavy structural fabrication industryHighly developed communication skills both written and oralAbility to mentor and guide studentsAbility to deliver presentations, educate learners and provide relevant trainingExcellent time and people management skillsAbility to problem solveGood attention to detail and accuracySelf-motivated and ability to work autonomouslyWhy us?You could be a part of a team that work on some of New Zealand's biggest projectsGreat team and collaborative work environment, that is solution focusedAbout usEstablished in 1958, Culham Engineering has over 64 years' experience in heavy engineering, petrochemical, industrial maintenance and the construction industry with branches located in Whangarei, Tokoroa, Kawerau and Auckland.
