To see our mission realised, we've conducted a thorough assessment of our existing team structure. This evaluation has led to the creation of new IST manager roles in the Business Solutions team. The Parliamentary Service Applications Manager role leads our Parliamentary Service Applications team, comprising of our highly regarded and experienced team of analysts and designers.
Mo te tunga | About the role:
As our Parliamentary Service Applications Manager, you'll play a key role as a technical leader for our corporate applications team. With a focus on customer experience, you'll align the team to collaborate, and deliver on, the wider strategic plan by driving the efficient and effective delivery of applications to our customers. You'll spearhead the Parliamentary Service Applications team to support, uplift and drive your team towards achieving exceptional outcomes. You'll proactively engage with key stakeholders across the business to understand their needs, plan work and regularly communicate with them.
Collaborating with Business owners to understand needs, plan work and communicate progressPrioritising customer experience and functionality throughout the processLeading the analysis, design, and implementation of technical solutions for our applicationsEvaluating technologies prioritising customer-centric design for corporate applicationsContributing to leadership, strategy, and operational direction within the Business Solutions teamEnsure team budget compliance with Parliamentary financial systemsTo kete | What you will bring to the role:
Experience leading, and collaborating with, teams in the design, development, implementation and support of Corporate applications and platforms (Finance, HR, Security etc.)Diverse background in ISTExperienced people leader with an ability to guide a team towards achievementDemonstrated passion for customer service, commercial acumen and vendor managementStrong communication, influence and calm under pressureKnowledge of the Parliamentary context is not necessary, but it is helpfulWhy work for Parliamentary Service?
