About this opportunity
We have a rewarding opportunity for twoApplications Architect'sto join our Digital Platforms division at the Society.
In this role you'll be responsible for developing and maintaining Application Architecture policies, standards, blueprints patterns, reference architectures and data models; ensuring the integrity of Application Architecture and consulting with various IT delivery teams on solution and alignment with our strategy.

About the role:
Prepare high level and detailed solution architecture for assigned projects
Contribute a solution design view and content at portfolio, programme and project levels for business case, through requirements to the testing approach (using Agile / Waterfall methodology)
Ensuring integrity of Application Architecture (in association with internal stakeholders), pragmatically identifying and reconciling any conflicting concerns of different stakeholders
Consult, co-ordinate and implement (if required) with various IT delivery teams the Solution Architecture and agree on the aspects of technical designs implementable
Develop technology standards and principles
Manage small to medium projects for application upgrades or technology driven system enhancements
About you:
Proven systems analysis experience, in particular with core transactional systems.
Development experience with a variety of languages, preferably including .NET.
Development experience with a variety of databases, including Oracle and SQL Server.
Experience with Agile delivery
Experience with middleware platform such as BizTalk
Experience with package implementations
Experience with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), REST APIs, Event Driven architecture
Experience with Integration architectures for IOT, Mobile, Saas / Cloud (AWS, Google, Azure), Partner ecosystems, AI enabled channels such as Chatbot, API led integration
External developers and Machine learning
Experience in the design and implementation of API (Web Services, REST, Hypermedia, Event Driven)
Experience in insurance business domain or like industry
