The Application Support Specialist is a crucial role within the Application Services Team, providing essential support to our customers for our suite of applications.
Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity This role requires a blend of technical prowess, customer service skills, and a keen eye for detail to ensure the smooth operation and reliability of our business-critical applications. The ideal candidate will be adept at troubleshooting, possess strong communication skills and have a proactive approach to managing application environments.

The ability to work within a Team to achieve Team Goals. 3+ years of experience in application support, IT support or a similar role. Knowledge of IT service management principles and frameworks (e.g., ITIL). Experience with incident management, change management and problem management processes. Proficiency in database management, SQL and application troubleshooting. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to interact effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities. Demonstrated project management skills and the ability to lead small project teams. Application Services provides organisation wide support and delivery through the entire application lifecycle for both corporate and clinical applications. Application Services works in collaboration with our sister Operations teams and the wider Digital Enablement team.
