With a robust multi year roadmap IDEXX has invested heavily to scale fit-for-purpose architecture for ezyVet. We've formed an Architecture Practice and now we're seeking an experienced Application Architect to join the team based here in our Auckland R&D center of excellence.
Basically, we're past the 'fast growing start-up' phase and transitioning into enterprise scale. ezyVet is hugely successful but the now legacy architecture needs modernising to operate at enterprise scale with safety and responsiveness that customers will expect. Our architecture, design and engineering practices need modernising, scaling and predictability built-in so that's we're you'll play. Gnarly challenge indeed!

Where you'll play! Work with product teams to determine the technical requirements for features on the application roadmapContribute to and lead the creation of technical features for the application roadmapProvide design recommendations based on long-term organisation strategyAlign architecture with overall Company application architecture standards to ensure smooth and efficient operationDetermine specifications and plans, designs and develop application solutions, utilising appropriate software processesCreate architecture and development standardsParticipate in development of new product requirements, features and designResearches and maintains knowledge in emerging technologies and possible applications to the businessAct as internal consultant, advocate, mentor and change agent.Production of documentation to assist in planning for the future of the productDocumenting architectural decisions (reasoning).
