The Judith Tam ALK Lung Cancer Research Initiative is a new initiative in the Rogel Cancer Center focused on accelerating progress in discoveries related to the pathogenesis, progression, treatment, and prevention of ALK driven lung cancers. The overarching purpose of this initiative is to foster rapid adoption of key discoveries that directly enhance the quality and length of the life of patients.In this position, you will join a multidisciplinary team focused on researching ALK+ lung cancers of patients presenting at the UMich and partnering institutions. You will have a key leadership role in the Bioinformatics team, working with research groups within the initiative to apply biology, bioinformatics, and software development skills to understanding the mechanisms and treatment of this cancer. You will manage multifaceted genomic and proteomic datasets generated in the overall research effort as well as mine relevant published data from public resources.Why Join Michigan Medicine?
