They are one of only four ATCA (Australian Therapeutic Communities Association) accredited rehabs in New Zealand. They have a fantastic site, with top class, brand new residential accommodation. Their team of eleven are a close knit, supportive and very happy team. They are fortunate to also have a very supportive Board and Chief Executive and a fantastic team culture with plenty of laughter. About the role You will hold a small caseload of 5-6 tangata whai oraYou will deliver parts of their wananga programme and participate in group therapy In addition to a competitive salary, you will receive your birthday off each year in addition to 20 days annual leaveYou will receive a bonus payments after an initial 90 day trail period with a further bonus after 6 monthsThe organisation will pay for your DAPAANZ registration and membership, external supervision and appropriate further trainingIf you are based outside of Blenheim the organisation will help towards relocation costs and will pay to get you to interview too About you First and foremost, you will be passionate about recovery and must be a positive role model You will be a strong team player and live the organisation's values; Pono, Aroha, TipuYou will be able to motivate others by positively affirming them where you can and being kind in the areas in which they need to improveYou will be DAPAANZ registered, or working toward registrationYou will hold an applied level 7 AOD qualification or hold a qualification/HPC registration in a relevant related field such as counselling, nursing etc. at Level 7 or aboveIf you have worked in a Therapeutic Community, this would be advantageousYou will have experience facilitating groups and providing 1:1 AOD counselling in alignment with the TC method Job SummaryA rewarding role holding a small caseload.
