Over time this role will work across all units within AIG.Ko wai koe | About YouIn this role, you will be responsible for:Supporting the opening of Building 8b by working closely alongside other key leadership positions. This will include recruitment of staff, development of relevant policies and procedures, development of a multi-disciplinary therapeutic programme and liaising with NGO's and community providers.Developing the Kaiawhina workforce within AIG and providing ongoing support.Overseeing and developing the therapeutic programme across AIG to ensure what is offered is contemporary and evidence based including providing education and support to multi-disciplinary team members.Liaising with NGO and community agencies to provide support into the therapeutic programme (as appropriate).A positive, solution focused mindsetMinimum of a Bachelor degree in the relevant professionA current Annual Practicing Certificate with the relevant professional bodyMinimum 5 years of clinical work experience within mental healthExperience with clinical teaching and supervisionExperience training and supporting the development of staff (including the Kaiawhina workforce)Experience in facilitating group workExperience in leading people and supporting change processesExceptional communication and relationship building skills across all disciplinesSpecialist Mental Health Services are an interdisciplinary team that forms part of Health NZ | Te Whatu Ora - Waitaha Canterbury.
