Psychology, Counselling & Social Work (Healthcare & Medical) Purapura Whetu Trust are looking to find a clinical superstar to join our team! We are looking for a suitable candidate who has clinical experience in the mental health/addictions sector, referral screening and triage experience. The Triage Lead will review all incoming referrals for tangata whaiora entering our services, phone professionals and whanau as required for risk assessments, and help streamline our referral processes. They will have a thorough, in depth knowledge of Purapura Whetu Trust and our wide range of services, and therefore play an essential role in providing the best pathways for support for whaiora. Our kaimahi consist of non-clinical Community Support Workers (Kaitautoko), and Clinicians (Kaihaumanu). Our clinicians include Social Workers, Registered Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Counsellors and Clinical Psychologists, as well as intern psychologists. You will work closely alongside our Management Team, Clinical Leads, and Team Leads. As the Triage Lead Your level of expertise inspires clinical excellence within the wider team. With a clear understanding of Health and Disability Service Standards, you will be proactive in working alongside professionals, kaimahi and whanau You are self-aware and empathetic with the ability to motivate and empower individuals.
