We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Development Manager who has worked in the airline, aviation or tourism industry at a senior level to join our champion team. As our Airline Development Manager, you will report to the Head of Aeronautical Development and lead the local engagement with local carriers and manage the formulation and implementation of network, passenger flows and freight development initiatives. The role’s core focus will be on growing and sustaining passenger numbers on domestic and trans-Tasman services in line with our long term strategic plan.
Required Skills
Experience in co-ordinating and pulling together highly skilled professionals, and having a campaign management focus and a strong team work ethic, is important. You will also be involved in growing the Airline business and working with a range of tourism industry organisations and government departments.

Our ideal candidate will have aviation experience, with at least 10 years’ experience in a middle management marketing or business development role within the aviation or travel and tourism industry. Domestic and international travel will be required at times, as well as attending events and meetings outside usual business hours so flexibility is key.
