HVAC Technician – Opportunities in Queenstown Are you an experienced HVAC Technician looking for a new challenge? Do you want a c hange of scenery ? APPLY NOW Tradestaff have HVAC Technician jobs available across Queenstown We are looking for HVAC Technicians with background knowledge and experience with the following (but are not limited to): Installing, servicing and repairing HVAC systems in residential and commercial builds Fault finding and diagnostics for HVAC systems Heating and refrigeration testing and installation of new systems Working from drawings and specifications, and laying out installation reference points Drilling holes, installing mounting brackets and cutting, bending and threading piping Installing and repairing components such as compressors, motors, condensers, evaporators, switches and gauges, and copper lines for steam, gas, refrigerant, compressed air, oil and chilled water Filling systems with gas or fluid to check for leaks Test-operating refrigeration systems and making adjustments Adjusting system controls and mechanisms and reassembling systems Ideally, you will be or have: Minimum 3+ years' experience Trade qualifications preferred however scope and length of experience may substitute for the formal qualification NZ EWRB/PGDB Limited or practicing license preferred but not essential Your own tools Own reliable transport At least 2 work references 100% commitment to Health & Safety Able to pass a pre-employment drug test In return we offer competitive rates of pay, varied and challenging work, regular hours with a guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week, as well as long-term opportunities.
