About the role As our Advisor – Tauira Support, your primary responsibility is toprovide professional support services tailored to meet the individual needs ofour tauira. You will work closely with tauira, addressing various challengesthey may encounter and guiding them towards successful outcomes. As a pillar of support, addressing a wide range of issues that ourtauira may face, including academic challenges, attendance issues, careerguidance, enrolment procedures and more. You will actively engage inproblem-solving and barrier removal to foster an environment conducive tolearning and growth. You will also communicate with fellow advisors and kaimahito ensure a cohesive approach to supporting our tauira and achieving positiveoutcomes. About you You will bring with you the following: A bachelor's degree in a field relevant to education, psychology orsociology. Full New Zealand drivers license. 2+ years' experience in an education or social services type role. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Proven ability to coach, mentor and build relationships with people atall levels. Intermediate user knowledge of Microsoft Suite applications.
