The role also requires liaison with a range of emergency management partners and agencies, providing advice and support on relevant aspects of a Port or New Zealand flagged vessels.This role requires someone who has proven experience identifying and minimising potential risk and creating improvements in efficiency. It is important you also have the capacity to be a thoughtful team member and a confident communicator keen to establish and grow connections across the organisation. Thorough knowledge of emergency management principles, practice and procedures and experience is required, including NZ Coordinated Incident Management System (CIMS).The successful candidate will need to have a current and clean Driver Licence and is required to travel and work for periods of time domestically and internationally as readiness and response activities require.
