About us
Caravan Industry Victoria is a member based organisation that represents the Caravan and Recreational Vehicle Trade Industry in Victoria and was establishes in 1952. Our members manufacture, sell, service and repair and supply products for recreational vehicles. The Caravan trade industry in Victoria is worth $2.1b dollars to the Victorian economy each year and is growing, employs directly over 7500 people and manufactures 90% of all new Recreational Vehicles in Australia, We provide many services to promote and protect our members including the provision of technical advice and information, the conduct of Caravan shows, marketing and advertising campaigns, education and training programs, business awards and much more. We have 12 staff and a really great team of people to work with
The Role
This role will provide administrative assistance tot he office across a wide range of tasks and act at times as an executive assistant to the CEO. Our role on offer will suit someone who is highly organised, wants a variety of tasks each day, wants to be in the middle of everything that happens in the office, wants to talk to people and members and who wants to participate in tasks that will make the office hum.
Your duties would include:
Undertaking general administration and clerical tasks for the office and CEO including photocopying documents, managing the mail, filing of regulatory documents etc;
Ordering all office stationary and staff uniforms;
Taking all incoming phones calls and distributing messages to appropriate staff;
Booking couriers;
Assisting CEO in the collation of bi monthly board papers
Making travel arrangements for CEO and senior staff
Coordinating the bookings for Association meeting rooms;
Maintaining the Associations main meeting space to a professional standard including arranging the space for meetings and members events
Working at Caravan shows undertaking administration tasks for the events team.

The person
To be considered for this position you must:
Have 3-5 years demonstrated hands on experience in a clerical and administrative position;
Have excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to build and establish positive and effective working relationships
A strong focus on attention to detail and manage time effectively;
Have the ability to work in a small team;
Have strong computer skills across all of the Microsoft suits of programs;
Have a sense of humour and fun.
