The role/Te mahi We are seeking an outstanding and highly organised administrator to provide administrative services to the School of Surveying within the Division of Sciences. Key tasks of the role include: • Providing administration support to academic and professional staff. • Responding to student or visitor enquiries. • Coordinating local administration processes such as recruitment, induction, and teaching administration support. • Collating and distributing student exam results. • Maintaining timetable information. • Communication (including newsletters). • Planning and logistics for travel. • Meeting support. This is a busy role in a friendly team, where your relationship building skills will be key to your success. We are looking for candidates with: • Previous experience in a busy administration environment. • The ability to build and maintain relationships. • Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of programmes. • A sense of humour and inquisitive mindset. • Excellent organisational and time management skills. • Accuracy and attention to detail. • The ability to work as part of a team and individually. • The ability to be adaptable and flexible in a fast-paced environment. Divisional Services and Administration team are a group of highly skilled professional staff responsible for delivering an outstanding student and staff experience through high quality, effective service delivery to all of the University's internal and external customers. This is a full time (37.5 hours), permanent position, located in Dunedin. The appointments range for this role is $59,285 to $63,651. Top of Range $68,744.
